CARTOON NETWORK, ‘SUMMER IDENT’

Cartoon Network recently put together a crew of animators from around the world to create their new summer ident in the form of an animated exquisite corpse. Each team/animator was given 10 seconds of music, 4 colours and tons of Cartoon Network characters to work with. At the end of the project, in true exquisite corpse fashion, each piece was stiched together. Animation directed by (in running order) Alex Grigg, Eamonn O’Neill, Impactist, leCRCR, Rubber House & Awesome Inc.
This is the result!

CARHARTT WIP – SPRING/SUMMER 2013 LOOKBOOK

Following last week’s preview videoCarhartt WIP has unveiled the full lookbook for the brand’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection. As always, the looks pay tribute to Carhartt’s roots, featuring traditional workwear pieces in modern silhouettes, as well as an explicit shout-out in the form of a crewneck sweater emblazoned with “Carhartt Detroit”.
The utilitarian vibe stands shoulder to shoulder with a distinctly trad aesthetic, highlighted by tattersall plaid woven shirts, garment-dyed button-downs and a cotton windbreaker finished with all-over mallard embroidery. Additionally, floral prints and nautical stripes on lightweight materials contribute to the seasonal story. Check out the comprehensive lookbook here.
